This pineapple rice shake is a very refreshing drink, perfect when the heat hits us.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 cup rice, Cooked
  • 1 pineapple, medium, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 2 liters Water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • sugar, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional

Preparation

Boil the pineapple with the rice in 2 liters of water, add the pinch of salt; boil until the rice is very soft (approximately 20 minutes).
Wait until it cools, and blend well. Pass through the strainer, add the vanilla extract, sweeten to taste. Serve very cold.

TIPS

To change the color you can add several pieces of raw carrot when you are going to boil the pineapple and rice.
