Three-tiered toasted sandwich that is full of creamy avocado, rich in healthy unsaturated fats. It is a good option for breakfast or light dinner. It is easy to prepare and delicious.

Ingredients

2 portions
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 avocados
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 2 slices Turkey ham
  • 6 slices wholemeal bread
  • 175 grams chicken breast, roasted and cut into small pieces
  • 2 tomatoes, finely cut
  • 25 grams alfalfa sprouts

Preparation

With a fork, mash the avocado. Add the lemon juice and finely chopped onion. Continue crushing until the mixture is moderately soft.
Mix the mayonnaise with the cilantro.
Preheat a skillet at medium temperature. Place the bread in the pan for 2 or 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Spread two slices of bread with a thin layer of mayonnaise on both sides. Spread the remaining 4 slices of bread with the avocado on one side only.
In the first slice of bread with avocado, put a leaf of lettuce, a slice of ham and tomato; Top a slice of bread with mayonnaise and on top of it, the alfalfa sprouts, the chicken and two slices of avocado and finish with a slice of bread with avocado.
Compress the sandwiches and cut them in half. Serve them immediately.

TIPS

Sprouts are a good source of vitamins B and C. You can use grated carrots instead of alfalfa sprouts. Soybean sprouts are also a good option; use 11/2 cups (50 g).
