Shrimp Croquettes with Habanero Sauce

You will not have to worry about canapés selling places anymore. With these shrimp croquettes with Habanero sauce you can make your own canapés and they will be delicious. These crunchy sandwiches are perfect to place in a platter and go past them at the time of the snack, before your Christmas Dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cheap shrimp in medium pieces
  • 1 piece of potato cooked and in small cubes
  • 1/4 of Cup of Parmesan grated
  • 1 teaspoonful of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoonful of onion powder
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1/3 of Cup of ground bread
  • enough of Salt
  • enough of Pepper
  • 1 Cup of cream cheese in cubes
  • enough of flour to bread
  • enough of egg to bread
  • enough of cornflakes to bread
  • enough of oil to fry
  • 2 pieces of habañero pepper for the sauce
  • 1 clove of Garlic for the sauce
  • 1/4 of piece of onion for the sauce
  • 1 Cup of evaporated milk for the sauce
  • 1 Cup of cream cheese for the sauce
  • 1/2 Cup of coriander for the sauce
  • enough of Salt
  • enough of Pepper
  • enough of coriander to decorate

    Preparation

    In a bowl, mix the shrimp with the potato, the parmesan cheese, the garlic, the onion, the egg, the ground bread, the salt, and the pepper, and with the help of your hands, form balls. Place a cube of cream cheese in the center and finish giving them shape.
    Beat the croquettes through flour, egg and corn flakes.
    In a pot with hot oil, fry the coquettes until browned and drain on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
    For the sauce, in a comal roast the chiles, the onion and the garlic. Blend with evaporated milk, cream cheese and cilantro.
    In a pot cook the sauce for 10 minutes or until thick, season with salt and pepper.
    Serve a sauce mirror and place the croquettes. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve in a slightly deep dish, with the sauce and garnish with fresh coriander.

    TIPS

    Freeze your croquettes before frying so they do not lose their shape.
