Don't let eating a snack make you feel guilty, here is a recipe for Low-Calorie Crispy Chicken Tenders, ideal to share.
This delicious snack of juicy and super crunchy chicken strips, with a batter of corn flakes and marinated potatoes, covered in a bittersweet honey sauce, with a touch of dry chipotle chili you will love it.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 piece of chicken breast
  • to taste of salt and pepper
  • 2 pieces of egg beaten
  • 1/2 Cup of ground bread
  • 1/2 Cup of potato marinated, crushed
  • 1/2 Cup of cornflakes
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • to taste of vegetable oil to fry
  • 1/2 Cup of bee honey for the sauce
  • 6 pieces of chipotle chile pepper dry, finely chopped, for the sauce
  • 2 spoonfuls of rice vinegar for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger finely chopped, for the sauce
  • 2 spoonfuls of Soy sauce for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic finely chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of cornstarch for the sauce
  • 1/4 of Cup of Water for the sauce
  • 1/4 of Cup of lemon juice for the sauce
  • 2 spoonfuls of siracha sauce for the sauce
  • to taste of onion stem chambray chopped, to decorate

    Preparation

    Place the chicken breast in a bowl and mix with the egg, salt and pepper, reserve.
    In a bowl, mix the bread crumbs with the potatoes, the corn flakes, the starch and cover the chicken with this mixture covering completely.
    Fry the chicken tenders in a pot with hot oil until golden brown and drain on absorbent paper. Set aside.
    For the sauce, in a pot cook the honey with the chipotle chili, the vinegar, the ginger, the soy sauce and the garlic. While it is boiling, hydrate the starch with the water in a bowl and pour in the sauce, add the lemon juice and the sriracha. Cook until thick and season.
    In a bowl mix the chicken strips with the sauce making sure to cover them completely.
    Serve on a table and decorate with chambray onion stems. Accompany with roasted corn and enjoy.

    TIPS

    You will know that your fry tender is ready when the oil stops bubbling.
