Enjoy these crispy fish strips with a crunchy breaded, accompanied by a rich sweet and sour sauce of chipotle and honey. It is ideal as a snack to enjoy in any meeting during this time of Lent.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 Cup of pineapple juice
  • 1/4 of Cup of honey
  • 1/4 of Cup of sugar
  • 1/4 of Cup of tomato sauce
  • 2 spoonfuls of chipotle chile pepper ground
  • 2 spoonfuls of spicy sauce
  • to taste of salt and pepper
  • 4 pieces of tilapia fillet in thick strips
  • enough of flour
  • 2 pieces of egg smoothie
  • 1 on of Crushed ground bread Bimbo® (175 g)
  • enough of oil to fry

    Preparation

    For the sweet and sour sauce, heat the pineapple juice in a pot over medium heat and add the honey, sugar, tomato sauce, ground chipotle, hot sauce, season with salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes or until thick . Chill and reserve.
    Season the fish with salt and pepper and cover with flour, egg and crushed Bimbo® crushed bread making sure it is covered completely.
    Fry the fish strips in hot oil for 5 minutes or until browned. Drain on absorbent paper to remove excess grease.
    Serve the fish strips with the sauce.

    PRESENTATION

    On a wooden board, accompanied with strips of celery and carrot.

    TIPS

    If you wish, bathe the fish strips already fried with the sauce and make sure to cover them completely. They will be like a restaurant!
