Here we present a recipe to prepare basic rice to start in the addictive world of Sushi. A very simple recipe to make, where you only need sushi rice, water, rice vinegar, salt, and sugar. With this rice, you can prepare your favorite rolls.

Preparation
Wash the rice in a strainer until the water runs clear.
Add vinegar, sugar, and salt to a pot, heat until dissolved and everything is integrated, and has a slight golden hue.
Add to a pot the same amount of rice as water, cook on high heat, and when it reaches a boil, lower the flame to a simmer, count 15 minutes, turn off, and leave covered.
While the rice is still hot, integrate the vinegar mixture.
Presentation
And this is the base for sushi rolls; 1kg is enough for approximately 15 rolls.

Tips
Do not stir the mixture too vigorously; do it as if you were cutting with a wooden spatula.
