The sopes are a classic of the Mexican appetizers and with this recipe you can prepare some delicious chicken with green sauce. Share them with everyone at home, they will love it.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1/2 cups yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup green sauce
  • 1 cup corn dough
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 cups Water, tibia
  • 1/4 cups cream
  • 3/4 cups fresh cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Preparation

Heat a large skillet sprayed with cooking spray at medium heat. Add the yellow onion; cook it stirring for 3 min. Add the garlic and chicken; cook 3 min., stirring occasionally. Incorporates 1/2 cup of sauce; cook for 2 min. or until it is completely hot, stirring frequently. Keep this warm.
Mix the dough, salt and water to form a soft dough. Divide it into 8 pieces; crush each one to form a 4-inch disc. Heat a large skillet or comal over medium-high heat. Add the sopes in batches; cook 2 min. or until they are lightly browned on both sides, flipping them every 30 seconds. Use your thumb and index finger to make a 1/4 "edge. high in each sope.
Combine remaining sauce with sour cream; Spread the mixture over the sopes. Top with chicken mixture, cheese and green onions.
