Extraordinary meat roll baked with cheese and vegetables, it is simply delicious, prepare and consents to all your guests.

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 1 kilo of veal
  • 400 grams of onion
  • 250 grams of coriander chopped
  • 1 kilo of carrot chopped
  • 5 pieces of egg
  • branches of celery
  • 3 pieces of garlic
  • 400 grams of leg ham
  • 500 grams of Manchego cheese grated
  • 400 grams of cream cheese
  • 500 grams of zucchini sliced
  • 400 grams of smoked bacon smoked
  • 350 grams of ground bread
  • 300 grams of Butter
  • 200 grams of chicken consommé
  • black pepper

    Preparation

    The whole eggs, onion, garlic, cilantro, celery and carrots are liquefied.
    In a large bowl mix the ground meat with the previous liquefied, as well as the ground bread.
    Half of the butter is melted and added to the mixture, add the chicken broth and finish seasoning with salt and pepper, taking care not to salt it.
    Place a large piece of aluminum foil, spread the other half of butter, put a layer of bacon that covers perfectly the surface, then a layer with the mixture of ground beef, then a layer of ham, then the manchego cheese and the cream cheese, finally the layer of zucchini slices.
    Carefully roll the meat, taking care to seal the roll very well laterally and at the ends, so that the filling does not come out.
    Close the roll perfectly with the foil and put the tray in the hot oven at 300 ° C for an hour and a half.

    PRESENTATION

    It is served hot in slices, accompanied by a fresh salad, I prefer it to Italian. With a good red wine it is an excellent dinner.

    TIPS

    Care must be taken that the roll is well sealed and the aluminum that does not leak, so that it cooks evenly. At the end, the aluminum opens and it is left open for 15 minutes so that the roast takes an even golden color and looks richer.

    Sobre la cantidad de ajo y el queso crema Buen día =) Me encanta su receta y sólo quiero preguntarles un par de cosas que a lo mejor son obvias pero no soy muy profesional en la cocina y necesito ser muy específica. La receta dice 3 ajos, ¿son 3 ajos completos o sólo 3 dientes de ajo? Sobre el queso crema, ¿es posible sustituirlo por Ricotta o requesón? Es que creo que so podría restar un poco de grasas al plato. Y cuánto apio le pongo??? al gusto o 1 apio completo??Muchas gracias y felices fiestas =)
