Delicious Greek gyro lamb recipe. It is simply delicious, the gyros are a majar as the lamb meat goes on a pita bread and is dressed with a sauce based on yoghurt and cucumber. Try it, you will not regret it.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 400 grams of lamb meat
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 teaspoons of thyme
  • 2 teaspoons of oregano
  • 1/4 of Cup of olive oil
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 1 piece of tomato
  • 4 pieces of pita bread
  • to taste of Salt

    Preparation

    Cut the meat into thin strips (as if it were a shepherd's top).
    Grind the garlic and in a bowl, mix the meat with garlic, thyme and oregano. We stir well.
    Subsequently add olive oil to the mixture and refrigerate (one day preferably).
    In a pan fry the meat (wait until the pan is very hot).
    After frying the meat, we remove the excess oil.
    Cut the onion and tomato julienne.
    Heat the pita bread, and when it is warm, add the meat and vegetables (onion and tomato).

    PRESENTATION

    Accompany your gyro with a rich Greek salad.

    TIPS

    Add tzatziki sauce to the gyro for a better flavor.

    muy buena me parece excelente combinacion de sabores con la el tomillo y el oregano se me hace verdaderamente exquisita ...!!!
