Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 red peppers, chopped into pieces
  • 3 bunches fresh spinach
  • 1/2 kilos mushroom, sliced
  • 1 jar sauce for pizza, for spaghetti
  • 200 grams ricotta cheese
  • 150 grams mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1/3 cups parmesan cheese, grated or powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 box pasta for lasagna

Preparation

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and peppers; cook and stir 3 min. Remove them from the fire. Add the spinach; stir until softened. Add the spaghetti sauce.
Mix well the ricotta cheese, 1-1 / 2 cup of shredded cheese, 2 tbsp. of parmesan cheese and egg.
Put 1-1 / 2 cup of sauce in the Olla Express®; put on top layers of half of the pasta (split to fit) and half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Cover them with 2 cups of sauce. Put the remaining pasta sheets (items to fit), the ricotta cheese mixture and the sauce. Put the lid.
Cook the lasagna over medium heat for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining cheeses; let it stand covered for 10 min. or until the crumbled cheese melts.

TIPS

Storage of dry pasta: Dry lasagna will last almost indefinitely if it is stored in an airtight glass or plastic container and in a dark, cool place. However, dried whole wheat pasta can be damaged, so it must be used within the recommended time frame of the package.
