The Waldorf salad is a classic preparation of American cuisine, found especially New York. A preparation that mixes fruits, yoghurt, celery, mayonnaise and raisins. It is a refreshing and very tasty accompaniment.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 5 Red apples cut into cubes
  • 200 grams of celery cut in half moons
  • 150 grams of raisin
  • 10 leaves of lettuce French or escarole
  • 100 grams of nut chopped
  • 300 milliliters of natural yoghurt
  • 20 grams of Mayonnaise
  • 15 grams of Salt
  • 2 pinches of ground pepper

Preparation

Mix the apple, celery, walnut, raisins and lettuce in a salad bowl.
In a bowl mix mayonnaise and yogurt, season. With this preparation season the salad.
Mix well and serve.

PRESENTATION

Serve in a bowl.

TIPS

Add the lettuce and the dressing before serving.

Se ve muy bien, sin embargo, le falta un ingrediente que es muy importante y le da a esta ensalada su particular sabor: El vinagre !!!
