Ingredients

2 portions
  • 1 package Philadelphia® cream cheese, (3 oz / 85 gr) softened at room temperature
  • 1 container greek yogurt, natural fat-free Yoplait®
  • 1/4 cups basil leaf, fresh, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons spring onion, (green onions) finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoons ground red pepper, (from cayenne)
  • 1 cup surimi, imitation of frozen crab meat, thawed, chopped salad style
  • 2 red peppers, big
  • fresh basil leaves, chopped fresh, optional

Preparation

In a small bowl, whisk cream cheese with electric mixer at low speed until creamy. Add the yogurt until it is well mixed. Add 1 quart of cup of chopped basil, onions, peel and lemon juice, ground red pepper and crabmeat.
Cut each pepper into 15 squares (1¼ inches or 3 cm). Put a teaspoonful of crab mixture in each pepper box. Garnish with basil leaves.

TIPS

You can replace the basil with parsley in the filling and in the garnish.
