Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 cup bacon, in medium squares
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 3 1/2 cups Water, boiling, 800 ml
  • 1 box Coditos with La Moderna® cheese
  • enough parmesan cheese, grated, to accompany
  • enough bacon, fried, for garnish
  • enough parsley, finely chopped, for garnish

Preparation

In a pan, fry the bacon and use that same fat to fry the onion with it for 5 minutes.
For the La Moderna® Coditos with cheese, boil 3 ½ cups of water (800 ml) in a saucepan, pour in the pasta, the cheese envelope and stir. Let it boil uncovered for 15 minutes over medium heat and stir from time to time. Add the bacon and onion and stir.
Serve the macaroni and garnish with Parmesan cheese, bacon and parsley.

PRESENTATION

Serve with bacon, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.

TIPS

When you cook the bacon and soak up the juice, let it brown for a few more minutes for a crispier texture.
