Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 1/2 glasses lentil, pardinas
  • 1 yellow onion, median
  • 1/2 green bell peppers
  • 1/2 red peppers
  • 1 carrot, big
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 leave bay (laurel)
  • 2 teaspoons pimientón, candy
  • 1 1/2 liters rose water
  • table salt

Preparation

Rinse the lentils and put them in a pot with a liter and a half of water. Add a bay leaf, sweet pepper, and a small spoonful of salt. Put on medium heat.
Peel the onion and garlic. Chop both and put them in a pan with olive oil. Let them punch a little and then let them brown.
Then put the garlic and onion in the glass of a blender but trying to keep the oil in the pan.
Add a splash of water to the glass of the blender and beat well. Add this mixture to the pot with the lentils.
Cut the green and red peppers into pieces and put them in the pan where we have left the rest of the onion and garlic oil.
Add half a tablespoon of salt and sauté for a few minutes.
Then add the carrot peeled and cut into pieces. If necessary, add a pinch of olive oil.
When the vegetables are at their point turn off the fire and reserve them.
When the lentils are tender, remove them from the heat. Add the vegetables that we had reserved and stir well and salt test. If necessary, add a little more.
Let it sit for 5 minutes and that's it.
