Tips and care for the cold season

November sets the stage for the arrival of what we know as winter, and with it comes the cold that for many can be total chaos, as they suffer from intense cold and often constant colds (also known as the flu). To avoid or prevent bad moments with the arrival of the cold season, it is important to maintain a diet rich in vitamins and minerals. For example, citrus fruits and some other foods loaded with vitamin C are essential for providing protection and defenses to your body. Some other foods we can consider as part of the diet during these times are hot beverages or soups, which can be prepared with vegetables that will provide nutrients to the body and also help maintain a stable temperature. Teas can also be part of the list of beverages to consume. For example, chamomile tea, lemon tea, orange tea, or chai are very good. For children, soups, vegetables, citrus fruits, and occasionally some additional vitamins (which should be recommended by a specialist doctor) are essential, avoiding bad moments and allowing enjoyment of the cold season. Finally, hot baths in the morning or evening are important so that our body can relax, release toxins, and stay clean.
