The United States bans red dye

The U.S. authorities have just announced a historic event: they are banning the use of
red dye no. 3! However, this product has been used in food manufacturing for decades.
The
AP portal explains that the decision to ban the use of
red dye was announced 35 years after its use in cosmetics was banned, as it is potentially related to
cancer.
This ban came after a group of health advocates made a formal petition in 2022, as it is linked to health issues.

Furthermore, the
