Profeco, the institution responsible for protecting us as consumers, has just published a list of the best olive oils of different types. Here we tell you which were the best assessed considering the quality-price ratio. 

Olive oil 

1. Golden Hills Olive Oil 
This olive oil is of Spanish origin, has all the required information and costs $19 pesos for every 100 ml.  

2. Great Value Olive Oil 
The product has all the necessary information and is of good quality. It costs $24 pesos for every 100 ml.  

3. El Olivo Olive Oil 
Of Spanish origin, this olive oil is of good quality and costs $26 pesos for every 100 ml.  

4. Valley Foods Olive Oil 
It is of Spanish origin, it was verified to be an authentic product and costs $26 pesos for every 100 ml.  

5. Carbonell Olive Oil 
It costs $30 pesos for every 100 ml and is a product of Spanish origin.  

Extra virgin olive oil 

1. Member’s Mark Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
The 100 ml costs $25 pesos, it is authentic and also of Spanish origin.  

2. Foncarde Gourmet Extra Virgin Olive Oil  
This oil of Spanish origin costs $29 pesos for every 100 ml.  

3. Great Value Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
Each 100 ml of this oil costs $30 and is a product of Spanish origin. 

4. Valley Foods Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
The 100 ml of this type of oil costs only $30 pesos.  

5. Olive & Co Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This Chilean olive oil costs $33 pesos for every 100 ml.

Organic extra virgin olive oil

1. Member’s Mark Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
If you prefer organic products, this version costs $26 pesos for every 100 ml.  

2. Selecto Brands Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
This Spanish oil is organic and costs $34 pesos for every 100 ml.  

3. Capullo Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
If you want to invest in an organic oil, this one from Capullo costs $40 pesos for every 100 ml.
