Cakes, cookies, stews, pasta... The options offered by the kitchen oven are immense. But let's be honest, baking can be intimidating, especially if you're a beginner.
Discover how simple baking can be (and achieving a successful result) with these easy tips. You truly won't look at your oven the same way again:
- Before baking your cookies, let the dough rest for a while. This way, you'll have nice cookies, not a burnt, shapeless mass.
- Avoid waste and inaccuracies in your recipes by spraying measuring containers for sticky ingredients (honey, peanut butter, etc.) with cooking spray.

- Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature before you start. Only then can you mix them uniformly.
- When the recipe says “soften the butter,” don’t just melt it. Whip it with a whisk to make it soft and fluffy.

- Substitute flour for powdered sugar when rolling out something. You'll see a significant difference in the final product (not a white stain).
- Separate the yolk from the white by breaking the egg over your hand. This way, the white will slip through your fingers while the yolk remains intact.

- Invest in some good special baking containers. Non-stick and silicone utensils are the best.
- Never skip sifting the dry ingredients. While it may seem irrelevant, this will make the difference between a fluffy cake and a dense one.

- Adding a pinch of cinnamon to chocolate desserts will enhance the flavors without needing to add more cocoa or sugar.
- Never decorate a dessert right after taking it out of the oven. Frosting or fondant can melt on warm surfaces.
