Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vegetal oil
  • 2 tablespoons lentil
  • 3 carrots, medium, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups Water, boiling
  • 1 tablespoon margarine, you can use butter without salt
  • 2 saladette tomatoes, peeled, seeded and cut into large cubes
  • 1/4 cups tofu, diced

Preparation

In a hot pan add the vegetable oil and onion until it is soft like 3-4 minutes.
Rinse the lentils, drain all the water and add to the onion. Add the carrots and boiling water. Raise the heat until it boils, cover and cook over medium heat for 25 minutes.
Melt the margarine in a pan; add the tomatoes until they are soft and add the tofu.
Strain the mixture of carrots and lentils and reserve the liquid where you cooked them.
In a food processor combine the mixture of carrots and lentils with ½ cup of liquid where you cooked it with the tomato mixture and make a smooth puree.
Serve warm.

TIPS

This can be a perfect porridge for your baby or you can accompany several dishes and they will taste delicious.
