These cinnamon rolls are ideal for this February 14, you will be like a pastry chef with that special person, and its apple cinnamon flavor filling is irresistible. Soft and fluffy cinnamon apple rolls.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 3/4 cups flour

  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoons ginger
  • 1/4 cups rum
  • 1/2 cups sugar

  • 1/2 cups walnut, very finely chopped

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
For the dough, mix the yeast with the milk and let it rest for 10 minutes to hydrate.

Add the butter and continue kneading with the mixer until integrated. Place the dough in a previously greased bowl and leave to ferment for an hour, or until it doubles in volume.

For the filling, add the butter in a frying pan and cook the Gala Washington® Apples with the cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, rum and sugar for 15 minutes, or until the apples are soft. Let it cool.
On a floured surface, spread the dough with the help of a rolling pin, add the filling, the nuts and roll it up, with the help of a knife, cut the 2 cm thick rolls. Place on a baking sheet and leave to ferment for 20 more minutes.
Varnish the rolls with the egg and bake for 20 minutes at 180 ° C.
