Ingredients

1 portion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups water, for the sauce

Preparation

In a small saucepan, put 1 and a half cups of water (covering the entire egg) and bring to a boil.
Add the egg to the water, cover the pot and remove from heat.
Leave the pot covered for 4-6 minutes, depending on how cooked you like the egg.
After 5 minutes (6 minutes for more cooked), pass the egg through cold water so that it stops cooking.
Cut the top of the egg, serve over an egg glass and enjoy with toasted bread in strips.

PRESENTATION

Serve with toasted bread cut into strips and add salt and pepper.

TIPS

Use at least 1 1/2 cups of water per egg to be cooked.
