Ingredients

3 servings
  • 6 slices of French bread
  • 1/2 Cup of ricotta cheese
  • 2 spoonfuls of sugar
  • 1 Cup of whipped cream
  • 4 pieces of egg
  • 3 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 1/2 Cup of whipping cream
  • 2 rajas of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla extract
  • 2 pieces of banana

    Preparation

    Cut the bread into 5 cm slices. wide and then cut those slices in half, without cutting it completely. There must be a kind of pocket for the Ricotta filling.
    In a bowl mix Ricotta cheese, sugar and a little whipped cream to make the mixture less thick. To stop.
    Prepare the dough in another bowl. Combine the eggs, the cream to beat, the cinnamon, the sugar and the extract of vanilla. Mix well and pour into a shallow bowl to submerge the bread.
    Carefully open the opening in the bread and put a tablespoon of ricotta mixture inside the pocket.
    Arrange the stuffed bread in the egg mixture and let it soak for several minutes to absorb the dough well, then turn it over and do the same on the other side.
    When the bread is completely soaked, heat a pan and melt a little butter in it. Carefully arrange the bread in the pan. Heat until golden brown on both sides.
    Slice the bananas and cover with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. To stop.
    Once the French bread is ready, arrange it on a plate.
    In the same pan add a little more butter and arrange the banana slices until caramelized on both sides.
    Serve French bread with a spoonful of banana, whipped cream and icing sugar.
