It is a cake with which you can surprise your pajero this February 14th or on a birthday, anniversary or special day!

Ingredients

10 servings
  • 300 grams of flour
  • 68 grams of cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 spoonfuls of baking soda
  • 3/4 of tablespoon of Salt
  • 168 grams of Butter softened
  • 1 3/4 cups of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups of Water
  • powder sugar
  • 540 grams of bittersweet chocolate chopped (for the chocolate ganache)
  • 2 1/4 cups of whipping cream (for the chocolate ganache)
  • 100 grams of White chocolate (for the chocolate cap)
  • 100 grams of bittersweet chocolate (for the chocolate cap)

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC)
Butter and flour a mold 23 centimeters in diameter or heart shape.
Mix the flour, the coca, the baking soda and the salt.
Beat the butter with the sugar until it is pale and fluffy.
Add the eggs one by one and beat in each addition, integrate the vanilla.
Add the flour mixture, alternating with the water, starting with flour and finishing with flour.
Pour over the prepared pan and bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour.
Let the cake cool for 1 hour.
Pour the cake on a rack, sprinkle with icing sugar.
To make the chocolate ganache: put the chocolate in a bowl, put the cream to heat, put on the chocolate and let stand for 1 minute. Move until the chocolate is melted. Pour over the chocolate cake and let it dry for 1 hour.
To make the chocolate lid: Melt both chocolate in a bain-marie container or microwave. Put on the mold, the dark chocolate. With the help of a toothpick add white chocolate and marmolear. Let it dry for at least 2 hours, inside the refrigerator.
Assembled: Put strawberries on top of the cake. Put the chocolate lid on top.

TIPS

If you do not have a heart mold, it can be one you have.
