  • 300 grams flour
  • 68 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons baking soda
  • 3/4 tablespoons salt
  • 168 grams butter, softened
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups Water
  • powdered sugar
  • 540 grams bittersweet chocolate, chopped (for the chocolate ganache)
  • 2 1/4 cups whipping cream, (for the chocolate ganache)
  • 100 grams White chocolate, (for the chocolate cap)
  • 100 grams bittersweet chocolate, (for the chocolate cap)

Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC)
Butter and flour a mold 23 centimeters in diameter or heart shape.
Mix the flour, the coca, the baking soda and the salt.
Beat the butter with the sugar until it is pale and fluffy.
Add the eggs one by one and beat in each addition, integrate the vanilla.
Add the flour mixture, alternating with the water, starting with flour and finishing with flour.
Pour over the prepared pan and bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour.
Let the cake cool for 1 hour.
Pour the cake on a rack, sprinkle with icing sugar.
To make the chocolate ganache: put the chocolate in a bowl, put the cream to heat, put on the chocolate and let stand for 1 minute. Move until the chocolate is melted. Pour over the chocolate cake and let it dry for 1 hour.
To make the chocolate lid: Melt both chocolate in a bain-marie container or microwave. Put on the mold, the dark chocolate. With the help of a toothpick add white chocolate and marmolear. Let it dry for at least 2 hours, inside the refrigerator.
Assembled: Put strawberries on top of the cake. Put the chocolate lid on top.

If you do not have a heart mold, it can be one you have.
