This classic apple dessert is not only delicious, but it has a spectacular finish and an aroma that emerges from the baking that will surely cause you to want to eat it immediately. Enjoy it in a coffee afternoon with your loved ones.

Ingredients

8 servings
  • 4 cups of flour (500 g), for the dough
  • 1 1/4 cups of Butter (300 g) cold, for the dough
  • 1 egg for the mass
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla for the mass
  • 3/4 of Cup of sugar (180 g), for the dough
  • 2 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 6 green apples peeled and diced
  • 1/4 of Cup of raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoonful of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of cardamom
  • 1 clove
  • 1 egg to varnish

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    For the dough, place everything in the food processor and process until integrated. Knead lightly and rest in the refrigerator 10 minutes.
    Spread with a 5 mm thick roller and place on a previously greased and floured pie pan, cut the excess and reserve for braiding. Reserve the mold in the refrigerator.
    In a pan over low heat, melt the butter and sauté the apples. Add the sugar and cook 5 minutes or until you have reduced the liquid. Add the powders and the clove and cook 1 minute more. Chill
    Fill the mold with the apples and cover with a braid of the remaining dough. Varnish with egg and bake 40 to 45 minutes or until the dough is brown. It serves.

    PRESENTATION

    Accompany with vanilla ice cream.

    TIPS

    Work the dough by hand in case you do not have a processor: flour, butter, egg, sugar and vanilla.
