  • 1 cup thick cream
  • 6 bars bittersweet chocolate
  • 2 bars bitter chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cups sugar, hill country fare
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla, HEB


Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
In the food processor put the flour, sugar, salt, cocoa, and butter. It is processed a few seconds and the coffee is added. A ball forms and goes into the refrigerator for half an hour.
The dough is removed from the refrigerator, and spread on waxed paper with a rolling pin.
Place the dough on a cake mold and press the edges with your fingers.
You put an aluminum foil on top and put beans on top. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. The paper and the beans are removed.
Put the water, wine, sugar, lemon juice, and orange juice in a saucepan and put the peeled peeled and halved over medium heat. Cook for 20 minutes until they are soft but firm. They are left to cool in their juice.
Cut the chocolate into equal pieces and put in a microwave bowl along with the cream. 30 to 30 seconds heat and stir to ensure it is not going to burn. Repeat until it is completely melted and stir. Let cool.
Put in the blender the eggs, ¼ cup of sugar, vanilla and 2 pears cut into pieces. Blend to a dough and add the melted chocolate. Beat well.
Put the mixture on the cake and bake for 30 minutes, until it becomes like a cream. Remove from the oven and cool.
Dry two remaining pears and cut them lengthwise. Place them in slices around the pie in a circle.
Cut the other two pears horizontally and form a flower in the center of the cake.
