  • 6 egg yolks
  • 6 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 6 tablespoons cognac, or rum
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 200 grams butter
  • 125 grams chocolate, melted in 3 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 tablespoon coconut, optional


First we start with the pancake, beat the egg whites until stiff, add the sugar little by little and continue beating so that it is like meringue.
Apart beat the yolks and stir with the egg whites alternating with flour.
Grease and flour a long and wide container and put this mixture.
It is placed in the preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
Unmold on a wet cloth and roll with napkin and all until it is cold while making the cream to fill.
A syrup is made with water and sugar.
Boil the syrup for about 5 minutes.
On the other hand they beat the yolks like a cream and they are added to the hot syrup.
Let it cool and stir with the previously whipped butter in the blender .
From this cream the third part is removed and left in the freezer for a while.
The melted chocolate is added to the rest of the cream and is ready to be added to the pancake.
The pancake is unrolled and wet in the chosen liquor, then filled with chocolate cream and rolled again.
With the white cream stored, Christmas figures can be made and placed on the trunk.


To serve sprinkle with glass sugar in parts and garnish with green coconut and green leaves.
