This Christmas Log with María Cookies is very easy to make, a dessert that is perfect for the Christmas season. Make it for your Christmas Eve dinner. The best thing is that the ingredients are very easy to obtain and it will take little time to prepare it.

  • 1 cup cream cheese, for the filling
  • 1 cup White chocolate, for the filling
  • 1 cup nougat, of almonds, for the filling
  • 2 cups Marie biscuit
  • 1 cup cream cheese, for the frosting, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups Hazelnut cream, for the frosting
  • enough cocoa, to decorate
  • 3 cherries in syrup, to decorate
  • 1 leave peppermint, to decorate


For the filling, in a bowl, add the cheese and make a creamy texture with the help of a blender. Once soft add the melted white chocolate, the almond nougat and beat until integrated.
Spread a bit of the cream on a cookie and stick another cookie on top. Repeat until you make a long log. Lay the cookie roll horizontally and cover with the rest of the cream. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
For the chocolate frosting cover, mix the cheese with the hazelnut cream until incorporated.
Remove the log from the refrigerator and cover with the chocolate frosting. Cover the log with the chocolate cream and refrigerate 10 minutes more.
Decorate with cocoa, cherries and mint. Cut diagonally and serve.


Decorate with cherries in syrup, mint and sprinkle with cocoa.


It is important that you cut the slices diagonally to obtain the vertical effect. It's more delicious if you cool it down.
