Preheat the oven to 180 °C for 10 minutes, in the mixer bowl place the butter and beat on high speed for 5 minutes until it turns white, lower the speed and add the sugar gradually, beating for another 5 minutes. Add the vanilla and eggs one at a time while continuing to mix, then gradually add the flour with a spoon and the baking powder, lastly add the two tablespoons of milk. Once the mixture is ready, place the cupcake liners in a tray and fill them three-quarters full with batter, bake for 18 to 20 minutes, depending on each oven's performance, and leave to cool inside the oven.
