Preparation
Bananas are cut in half and cut into thin slices; while allowing the butter to heat in a pan over low heat.
Add the bananas and let them fry for about 3 minutes. They should be flipped from time to time to achieve even browning on both sides.
Sugar is mixed with cinnamon and sprinkled on the plantains, then the coffee is added.
Let this mixture fry again until the bananas are ready. (Approximately 3 to 5 minutes more).
Pour the rum into the pan and lean on its side to be able to flame the mixture. As soon as the flames are extinguished, they will be ready to serve.
