Ingredients

  • 2/3 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 lemons, just the zest
  • 1/4 cups lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 3/4 cups White flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2/3 cups powdered sugar, to sprinkle

Preparation

Preheated oven at 180 ° c
Acremer the butter with the sugar until a smooth paste is obtained. Add the lemon zest, juice and vanilla and continue beating until perfectly integrated.
Add salt with flour and corn starch. Beat until smooth and smooth.
Place the dough on a floured board and divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll the dough up to form a 5 cm diameter cylinder, cover with self-adhesive paper and refrigerate for two hours.
Remove the paper and cut slices 1 cm thick. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Sprinkle sugar glass to taste.
