This is a recipe that I take from one of my cookie books that I want to share with you, it is simple, level 1 and I can assure you that you will not regret making the attempt.

Ingredients

20 portions
  • 1/2 cups wheat flour, (200 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cups butter, softened (125 grams)
  • 1/2 cups sugar, not refined (demerara or barbados) (150 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, or essence
  • 1 egg, big
  • 125 grams White chocolate, chopped roughly (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cups walnut, finely chopped (50 grams)

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (350 ° F).
Grease a cookie sheet with butter.
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl, with the help of an electric mixer at high speed, beat the butter with the sugar until acremar.
Add vanilla and egg whipping until just integrated.
Incorporate dry ingredients, white chocolate and nuts.
Make balls the size of a walnut with the dough and place on the prepared tray leaving a separation of 5 cm (2 in) between them.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
Let cool on the tray until the cookies are lightly firm, move to wire racks and allow to cool completely.

PRESENTATION

You can bathe them with melted chocolate (either dark or white).

TIPS

It is preferable to use butter without salt.
