Prepare the most practical egg custard with this recipe; This way you will have an exquisite dessert and it will not take you long. Perfect to show off at a meal or meeting as its flavor is addictive and its texture perfect.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 liters milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup sugar, for the candy
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence


For the Caramel: Empty the sugar cup that you will need for the caramel in a frying pan, move constantly until the sugar is liquid and of dark color without burning.
Once you have the ready candy you empty it in the flaneras, you spread the candy very carefully throughout the mold.
For the Flan: Empty the 4 eggs in a wide and deep bowl with the sugar little by little mix it very well and then add the milk and vanilla ecencia and mix it again until it is somewhat frothy.
Since you see it is well mixed and foamy you empty it in the flaneras.
You leave it for 40 minutes in the oven in a 180º bain-marie while still being careful to burn it. To know that it is ready you chop it with a toothpick and if it comes out clean it is already, if you do not leave it until it is chewed every 3 minutes. If you're ready, leave it cool for 40min and then unmold it and put it in the refrigerator and ... ready


You can decorate with fruits in syrup on the sides of your flan or even top.


Leave it in the refrigerator later, the next day it will taste richer.
