Delicious flan with cream cheese and a touch of caramel. This dessert is a classic in Mexican cuisine, its rich flavor and smooth and creamy texture is the addiction of many. It is served cold and has a homemade flavor that will remind you how your grandma prepared it.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 stick cream cheese, (190 g)
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 4 tablespoons sugar

Preparation

In the blender put the cheese, condensed milk, eggs, vanilla and evaporated milk and blend until everything is perfectly integrated.
Brown the sugar in a flanera for an express pot and when it is cold add the caramel that we liquefy.
We cover and put in the express pot in a bain-marie, as soon as it starts to sound we lower the fire and count 30 minutes and turn it off.
Allow to cool and unmold on a plate with edges so that the caramel does not spill.

PRESENTATION

We can accompany it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or with a spoonful of rice with milk.

TIPS

The flaneras for the express pot are sold in the supermarket, they are very practical.
