Preheat the oven to 200°C. (392 °F)
To prepare the guava candy filling, cook the guavas for 10 minutes in boiling water until they are slightly soft, drain and reserve.
Remove the seed of the guavas with a spoon.
Put the piloncillo in a small pot with ¼ cup of water and cinnamon, cook for 10 minutes until you get a honey texture, add the guavas and cook until it has a thick consistency and fall apart slightly. Let cool and set aside.
On a clean surface sprinkle sugar, extend the puff pastry to 3 mm thick with a rolling pin and if necessary add a little flour. Cut in circles with a 10 cm diameter cutter.
Fill the puff pastry discs with the guava candy and add the cream cheese squares, close with a fork, varnish with egg.
Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool and accompany with a glass of milk.
