Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cups unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cups apple puree
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pear, diced
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chip
  • 1/4 cups almond, filleted
  • 2 pears, whole

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Butter a muffin tin. Cover the bottom with wax paper.
Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. Reserve.
Using an electric mixer, beat the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the eggs one by one, then add the vanilla extract and applesauce. On low speed, add the flour mixture little by little and continue beating.
Add the chopped pear mixing with a spatula in an enveloping way. Pour the mixture into the previously prepared mold, insert the two whole pears into the mixture, sprinkle the almonds and bake for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler and set aside.
