Ingredients

12 servings
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 spoonfuls of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of Salt
  • 10 pieces of San Juan® egg
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • 1 Cup of Butter at room temperature (180g)
  • 2 spoonfuls of vanilla essence
  • 150 grams of dark chocolate melted
  • enough of powder sugar to decorate
  • enough of cocoa to decorate

    Preparation

    In a bowl with a sieve, sift the flour, the baking powder and the salt. Set aside.
    In a bowl beat the San Juan® eggs with the sugar, add the butter and vanilla extract. Add the powders little by little and beat about 10 minutes.
    Divide the mixture in two and add the melted chocolate to one of the halves. Incorporate well.
    Pour the vanilla mixture into a bundt cake pan of 20 cm diameter (about 8 inch) previously floured and greased, add the chocolate mixture, with a knife inserted gently to create waves, cover with aluminum foil.
    In a saucepan in a bain-marie place the bundt cake and cook over medium heat for 1 hour. Check during cooking that the water does not evaporate, if so, fill it up again.
    Insert a toothpick in the center, and if it comes out clean, the cake will be ready. Let cool and remove gently from the pan.
    Decorate by sprinkling the powdered sugar alternating with cocoa powder.

    PRESENTATION

    On a platter, decorated with powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
