Apple Pie with Caramel

Prepare this very easy apple pie marinated with sugar, cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg. On a crispy crust of cake that will fascinate you, covered with a rich and creamy caramel and served with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups of flour for the mass
  • 2 teaspoons of White vinegar for the mass
  • enough of Water for the mass
  • 1 Cup of Butter cut into cubes, for the dough
  • 3 spoonfuls of sugar for the mass
  • 3 spoonfuls of oil for the mass
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt for the mass
  • 10 pieces of Apple
  • 3/4 of Cup of refined sugar to marinate apples
  • 1/2 Cup of mashed sugar to marinate apples
  • 2 spoonfuls of cinnamon to marinate apples
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of nutmeg to marinate apples
  • 1/4 of Cup of cream to beat
  • to taste of sugar glass to decorate
  • to taste of vanilla ice cream to serve
  • to taste of Fresh mint to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    For the dough, in a bowl mix the flour with vinegar, water, butter, sugar, oil and salt. Rub with your hands to integrate all the ingredients and obtain a sandy dough. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
    Place the dough on a clean and floured table, with the help of a rolling pin and place it on a cake pan, make sure the dough is well adhered to the mold. With a fork, chop the dough and refrigerate while preparing the filling.
    Peel the apples with the help of a peeler, discouraged and cut 4 pieces into medium thick slices. The other 6 cut them into very thin half moons for decoration.
    Place the apples in a bowl; mix with refined and mashed sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Marina for 30 minutes.
    Drain the apples and reserve the liquid. Place the apple slices on the base, above it forms a rose with the half moons. Bake the cake for 50 minutes covered or until the dough is well cooked, remove from the oven and rest.
    For the caramel, heat a pot over medium heat with the liquid you reserved from the marinade and cook until you make a caramel, add the cream to beat and cook 5 minutes more.
    Bat the cake with the caramel, decorate with icing sugar, mint and serve with vanilla ice cream.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve a slice with vanilla ice cream.

    TIPS

    You can bake the dough in white to accelerate the process of cooking the cake, this means, pre-bake the dough with aluminum foil and beans (to generate weight) for 20 minutes.
