Line an 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil, leaving an overhang on both sides. Mix the butter and peanut butter well with a mixer. Add the cookie crumbs; mix them well. Gradually add the sugar; press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan. Heat the chocolate in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl on high for 1 minute; stir it all. Heat it in the microwave for an additional 15 to 30 seconds or until the chocolate melts when stirred. Mix in the whipped cream. Pour it over the peanut butter layer; spread it evenly to cover the dessert.
