Ingredients

7 portions
  • 150 grams rice
  • 1 liter milk
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 400 grams condensed milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 500 milliliters Water
  • to taste Orange zest

Preparation

In a small saucepan, add the rice with water and wash it until the water comes out clear.
Add 500 ml of water and heat it for approximately 20 minutes; just to soften the rice a little.
In a medium saucepan add the milk, vanilla, cinnamon, orange zest and heat over medium heat.
When the rice is already half soft, add it to the milk without the water, cook and move with a spatula constantly to avoid sticking.
When the bottom of the pan is seen, the liquid has been reduced a little and the rice is already soft, remove the cinnamon stick, at this point the condensed milk is added; it is integrated in an enveloping way with the help of a spatula, removed from the heat and let cool in a container.

PRESENTATION

You can present it in glasses or glasses and sprinkle tantita cinnamon.

TIPS

You can substitute condensed milk for sugar. You can substitute the orange zest for the lemon zest or add both. You can add other spices such as nutmeg or anise. If it is too thick you can add a little more milk, but the goal is to make it thick and soft; no liquid
