Easy Fondant in the Microwave

I share this recipe of easy fondant in the microwave. It is a quick and less elaborate version than a normal fondant recipe. You only need to melt the chocolates in the microwave, add the icing sugar and knead until you have a soft, elastic dough ready to decorate your favorite desserts.

Ingredients

5 servings
  • 2 bags of chocolate
  • 1 kilo of powder sugar
  • 2 spoonfuls of vegetable shortening
  • 2 spoonfuls of Water

    Preparation

    Spread a large glass refractory with the vegetable shortening, add the chocolates, water and microwave so that it melts. I recommend putting it in for 30 seconds and moving between each period so that it melts evenly. If you do not have a microwave, you can melt it in a bain-marie.
    Once the chocolates are melted, add the sieved glass sugar and mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained. If you prefer, you can do this step with the blender .
    When this almost all the integrated sugar can finish kneading it on a clean surface. Knead until you have a soft dough that is easy to handle. Keep the fondant covered and in a dry place to prevent it from hardening.

    PRESENTATION

    You can add color and essence to the fondat to use it to decorate cakes, cupcakes and cookies.

    TIPS

    I recommend you do it one day before you use it to have a better firmness.
