Preparation
Cut the bread into slices.
Beat the egg with the milk and dip the slices of bread.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bread, place on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
For the plums, heat the red wine with sugar and star anise in a saucepan, cook for 5 minutes.
Add the plums and cook for 5 more minutes or until soft.
Serve the torrejas with the reduction of red wine and plums, decorate with a little sugar glass.
