Ingredients

10 portions
  • 10 cups Water
  • 1 raja cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoons corn dough
  • 2 cups milk
  • 450 grams guava
  • 1/2 cups sugar

Preparation

Boil the water with the cinnamon.
Dissolve the dough in two cups of milk, it has to be smooth without lumps.
Blend the guava without seeds.
Gradually add the dough to the boiling cinnamon, and at the same time it has to be moving the pot so that the dough already mixed with the milk, do not make balls and then add the guava, sugar and heat for 35 minutes.

PRESENTATION

The atole de guayaba is usually prepared at Christmas or New Year to enjoy it with some tamalitos.
