Sopes are a Mexican snack, they are known in different ways depending on the state where they are consumed. Originally they are fried with butter and you can fill them in many ways, this time the filling is chicken.

Ingredients

3 portions
  • canola oil, enough
  • 1 kilo corn masa
  • 1 cup refried bean
  • 1 cup chicken, unraveled
  • 1/2 lettuce, finely cut and sanitized
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup fresh cheese, grated
  • 1 tomtato, chopped

Preparation

Heat the oil in a large skillet.
Knead the dough (add a little water if necessary) and form into balls, use a tortilla to make the soup (remember to place the dough between 2 pieces of plastic) and press the sides to form a casserole.
Fry the sopesitos in the hot oil, you can leave them well browned or medium soft.
Place on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
Spread a teaspoon of beans in each soup.
On the beans, place a portion of shredded cooked chicken making a volcano.
Decorate with the lettuce, cream, grated cheese and tomato on each soup.

PRESENTATION

On a plate, place 3 sopes and arrange them in a line or triangle.

TIPS

The ingredient of each soup can vary, you can make them from minced meat, shredded meat, chorizo, tinga, stewed pork rinds, etc.
