Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 cup Ham, in cubes
  • 3/4 cups Pineapple in syrup, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup manchego cheese, cut into cubes
  • 3 tablespoons Chile chipotle milled
  • enough salt
  • enough black pepper
  • 250 grams puff pastry
  • enough flour
  • enough egg, to glaze
  • enough Dried oregano, to sprinkle

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (396F)
Mix in a bowl the ham with the pineapple in syrup, the Manchego cheese, the chipotle pepper, season with salt and pepper.
Spread the puff pastry to 5 mm thick on a floured surface. Cut rectangles 8 cm wide by 32 cm long.
Place a bit of the ham mixture in the center of one of the rectangles, glaze the edges with egg and cover with another rectangle. With the help of a fork, seal up the pastries.
Glaze each pastry with egg and sprinkle with oregano. Place them on a baking tray previously greased and floured. Bake 20 minutes or until browned.
Remove from the oven, cool slightly and serve.

PRESENTATION

Decorate with oregano.

TIPS

Make sure you seal or close up the envelopes well to avoid the stuffing coming out, better use a fork or a knife.
