Chicken BBQ Cream Sandwich

Prepare this incredible creamy bbq chicken sandwich, made with this classic homemade sauce but with the unique touch that only Hellmann's® Mayonnaise Recipe can give you. You will not be able to believe the intense flavor that it gives to the chicken, besides being accompanied by purple cabbage, carrots and a little lettuce. You'll love it!

Ingredients

2 portions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons chicken broth cube
  • 1 tablespoon raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons apple vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon English sauce
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 chicken breasts, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon Hellmann’S® homestyle mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cups White cabbage, cut into thin strips
  • 1/4 cups red cabbage, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Knorr® chicken bouillon
  • 2 hamburger buns

Preparation

For the bbq, in a pan over medium heat heat the olive oil and cook the onion and garlic, season with Knorr® Switzerland Chicken broth and pepper.
Add the sugar and let caramelize, add the paprika, the vinegar, the English sauce, the ketchup and cook until it takes a thick consistency. Add the chicken and Mayonnaise Hellmann's® Homemade Recipe, cook one more minute and remove from cooking.
For the salad, in a bowl mix the purple cabbage with the white cabbage, the carrot, the Hellmann's® Mayonnaise® Home Recipe, the mustard, the vinegar, the lemon juice and the sugar, season with a little of Knorr® Switzerland Caldo de Chicken.
Make the sandwiches by adding a bit of the chicken over the hamburger buns, add a little coleslaw and close. Enjoy

Accompany with vegetable chips.

TIPS

The caramelization of the onion and the garlic with the sugar is an important step to obtain a bbq sauce with a lot of flavor.
