Ingredients

4 portions
  • 500 grams elbow macaroni pasta
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 90 grams butter
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Great Value® Wheat Flour
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 cups Great Value® ground bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups Great Value® Pure Canola Oil

Preparation

In a pot with water, cook the macaroni and reserve.
In a saucepan add the evaporated milk, cheddar cheese, butter, salt and pepper and let it cook until it has a thick sauce.
Add the macaroni and cook for 3 more minutes. Let cool and reserve.
Flour your hands and make little balls of macaroni, pass through flour, egg and bread crumbs. Refrigerate for 20 minutes and reserve.
Heat the oil over medium heat and fry the mac and cheese balls until golden brown.
