Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cups White fish, in cubes
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cups cream cheese, in cubes
  • 1/4 cups ground bread
  • to taste salt
  • to taste White pepper
  • enough vegetal oil, to grease hands and to fry
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup ground bread
  • enough cucumber, in thin strips, to accompany
  • enough pea, and cooked yellow corn, to accompany
  • enough potato, slice to accompany

Preparation

Crush the fish in the processor with the garlic, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, salt and white pepper, until you get a sticky and manipulable mixture.
Grease your hands with oil so that the mixture does not stick. Take a little mixture and start to form a sphere, flatten it little by little, trying to lengthen a small part of the shape, which will be the back fin (tail) of the fish. With a skewer or wooden stick, begin to outline the fin and with the fingertips, the rest of the body. Once the fish is formed, place on a flat surface and freeze for 10 minutes.
Bread each fish with flour, egg and bread. Fry in hot vegetable oil for 8 minutes over low heat, until golden brown. Drain.
Place on a plate, have fun making shapes with the vegetables.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with cooked peas, sweet corn and potato wedges.

TIPS

When making the little fishes you must constantly wash your hands and grease them, so that the shape stays as good as possible.
