Red Snapper with Hibiscus Sauce

Cooking fish will never be as easy as with this recipe for Red Snapper with hibiscus, which is accompanied by delicious sautéed vegetables. Undoubtedly, this is one of the most preferred recipes for Lent, because it is fast, doesn't require many ingredients and will take only 30 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

2 portions
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups syrup, hibiscus
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup chicken soup
  • 2 habanero peppers, roasted, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 500 grams red snapper
  • 1/2 cups broccoli, Cooked
  • 1/2 cups green bean, Cooked
  • 1/2 cups corn, baby
  • 1/2 cups carrot, strips
  • 1/2 cups cambray potato, cooked
  • enough salt
  • enough chinese parsley
  • enough yellow lemon, in slices

Preparation

For the sauce, in a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and cook the garlic, onion, hibiscus concentrate, the sugar, the chicken broth, and the habanero pepper for 20 minutes or until it thickens.
In a pan, add the butter and garlic, cook the red snapper for 10 minutes, add the vegetables and season.
Serve on a bed of vegetables, place the fish on top and cover with the hibiscus sauce, decorate with Chinese parsley and lemon slices.

PRESENTATION

Decorate with Chinese parsley and lemon slices.

TIPS

Cook the sauce until it has a thick consistency.
