Shrimp broth is a traditional Mexican recipe that is served hot and usually before eating seafood. For this Shrimp and Clam Broth we add a little clam concentrate that gives it a more intense and delicious flavor.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cubes Knorr® Tomato Seasoning
  • 6 cups Water
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 1/8 onions
  • 1 clove garlic, bare
  • 12 clams, squeak it clean
  • 2 dried chile de árbol peppers
  • 400 grams medium shrimp

Preparation

Add water in a pot and when it starts to boil, add the cubes of Knorr® Tomato Tomato Seasoning.
Add the carrot, onion and garlic.
After 5 minutes of cooking, add the clams and chilies.
Let cook for 15 minutes and in the last 5 minutes add the shrimp.

PRESENTATION

Serve in a deep plate.

TIPS

If any of the clams don't open after cooking, discard them.
