Preparation
In a large bowl, mix beef, pork, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, rosemary, lemon zest and lemon juice.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper.
Mix well with your hands until everything is incorporated.
Divide the mixture into 12 balls, each 1/4 cup of the mixture.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat.
Brown the meatballs, turning occasionally until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
Add the tomato sauce.
Wait for it to boil and reduce to medium heat.
Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes until the meat is well cooked.
Serve with white rice or spaghetti.
